WELCOME

Welcome to the Historic Motor Racing News web site.  We think the guys at Classic Driver have done a great job for us and we hope you find this site useful, informative and easy to use.

Our intention in the near future is to offer on-line subscriptions to all who travel a lot or to those who don't want to wait for the post.  However, the hardcopy will continue in case you like the feel of glossy paper in your hands.

Please contact us with further queries, comments, reports, gossip, corrections and information that we may have overlooked.

If you are a subscriber to the magazine, be sure to check out the interactive section for competitors.  We hope to build this up as a valuable resource for car transport, hotel, flight and other information that will be of practical help to you.  This section is interactive, so if you have tips and information, please share it with your fellow competitors.

Also, in the subscribers’ section we welcome race reports, stories, personal experiences, viewpoints and comments on the bulletin board.  We reserve the right to publish anything we find there!

Ten years ago we set ourselves the goal of becoming "the" voice of historic racing in Europe.  The only way we have been able to achieve as much as we have is with the help of our readers, made up mostly of competitors and organisers, who keep us informed of their news.

Racing Series

Having created and organised the Gentleman Drivers for World Endurance Sports and GT cars for seven years and started the Sports Racing Challenge for Sports Prototypes, we at Historic Motor Racing News are actively involved in promoting the sport.

Currently we are sponsoring and organising U2TC , a series for under two litre Touring Cars. Having debuted in 2006 with strong entries form Alfa Romeos, Lotus Cortinas, Minis, Abarths, Volvos and other pre-'66 European Championship Touring Cars, the series goes from strength to strength and has rounds in 2010 at Monza, Dijon, Silverstone Classic and Spa amongst others.

We are also involved in the exciting new Pre-'63 GT Mini Series, which ran at Silverstone Classic in 2009 and will run at Spa, Dijon and Silverstone in 2010.

See our "Race Series" page to download regulations and other information. Or give us a call.
