New Arrangements for Subscribers and Advertisers

First of all, a million thank yous to all who wrote or called after my editorial about our change of office with offers of support and practical help with the new arrangements for Historic Motor Racing News. It shows that we are a close-knit family, and your concern is not only rewarding for us, but it is also greatly appreciated. I haven’t written back to you yet, but I will.

We now have a new address in London, and most importantly, a new manager, who will run the London office and deal with subscriptions and ads. I am very pleased to say that that person is Victoria Newell, who some may know from her role in ad sales at Motor Sport for the two titles. When confronted with our departure from the Motor Sport offices, she preferred to come with the historic racers, as that is her true passion. I think she’ll be a perfect fit. She is keen to hear from all readers and advertisers on +44 (0)207 420 9348. In the meantime, you can email her on Victoria.Newell(at)historicmotorracingnews.com

I think the new arrangements will be good news all round. Our subscribers will get a better service, our advertisers will have just one person to deal with and get more personal attention, and we will be free to promote the magazine at race meetings and other events, which should result in more readers.

We are looking forward to having everything back in place and running smoothly. Thank you for your loyalty and patience while all this has been going on! If you are not a subscriber, please join us now. Click Here

Racing Series

Having created and organised the Gentleman Drivers for World Endurance Sports and GT cars for seven years and started the Sports Racing Challenge for Sports Prototypes, we at Historic Motor Racing News are actively involved in promoting the sport.

Currently we are sponsoring and organising U2TC , a series for under two litre Touring Cars. Having debuted in 2006 with strong entries form Alfa Romeos, Lotus Cortinas, Minis, Abarths, Volvos and other pre-'66 European Championship Touring Cars, the series goes from strength to strength and has rounds in 2010 at Zandvoort, Monza, Dijon, Silverstone Classic, Spa and Portimão.

We are also involved in the exciting new Pre-'63 GT Mini Series, which ran at Silverstone Classic in 2009 and runs at Monza, Dijon and Silverstone in 2010. The round at Silverstone is for the Royal Automobile Club Tourist Trophy for Historic Cars, which is awarded by the Royal Automobile Club to the race winner.

See our "Race Series" page to download regulations and other information. Or give us a call.
